ARDA participates in the exhibition at the National Young Smart Farmer Forum

On August 10, 2022, Ms.Ciriklon Viwallvong, Deputy Director of the Agricultural Research Development Agency, and Ms.Praweena In-yim, Office of Research Capabilities Enhancement, along with staff, participated in the exhibition at the National Young Smart Farmer Forum at TK Palace Hotel and Convention Bangkok. The event was scheduled between 9 – 11 August 2022, honored by Dr. Chalermchai Sree-on, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, president of opening remarks at the National Young Smart Farmer Network Forum of the Department of Agricultural Extension, discussing the policy of driving farmers' development to become agricultural entrepreneurs, with the management team and participants of the National Young Smart Farmer Network Forum. The objective is to connect the network of Young Smart Farmer and agricultural extension officers as well as exhibits, products, products, and agricultural products of Young Smart Farmer to further develop the knowledge and technology in agriculture and food. It also drives the operation of the National Young Smart Farmer Network coordinator working group and integrates with the network partners to showcase academic and technology works. There has been further development and upgrade of Young Smart Farmer to become an agricultural entrepreneur with 77 Young Smart Farmer networks nationwide.

At the event, 15 scholarship recipients were participating in the event and exhibiting products in the national Young Smart Farmer network, divided into four universities:

ARDA focuses on research work in the area to solve local problems in the On-Farm Trial model. The project aims to create a Smart Farmer able to apply the knowledge gained to a career as an SMR.
