ARDA joins with Kasetsart University and Department of Agriculture a carding machine and collect sugarcane leaves to reduce sugarcane burning and smog problems PM 2.5

                On May 25, 2022, the Office of Research Utilization, Agricultural Research Development Agency (Public Organization) ARDA organized to transfer knowledge on reducing sugarcane leaf burning and increasing soil organic matter through electronic media (Zoom Cloud Meetings) and live broadcast via Facebook Kaset Kao kai with ARDA. This training received an honor from Mr. Itthidet Atthaphaisan, an expert in Research Utilization, said the opening of this training along with providing guidelines for the participants to apply the knowledge gained and further development in the business.

                Asst.Prof.Dr.Kaewkarn Phuangsombut, Asst.Prof.Dr. Artist Phuangsombut, Assoc. Prof.Dr. Prathuang Usaborisut from Faculty of Engineering  Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus,  and Dr.Pinit Jirukkalul from Agricultural Engineering Research Institute, Department of Agriculture as a speaker to convey knowledge of Construction of a sugar cane carding and collecting machine on the back of a mini tractor with an average yield of 85.38 percent of sugarcane leaves and average efficiency of 30.31 percent of sugarcane leaves high-quality organic fertilizer production technology by using leaves and top of sugar cane as raw materials By using leaves and top of sugar cane as raw materials with chicken droppings and using Mechanical Biological Treatment fermentation technology: MBT and the creation of a sugarcane leaf organic fertilizer spreader with a tractor-trailer, two grooves are working at a time for the run, the distance between the rows of sugarcane that can work at least 1.40 meters and the ability to work in the field in the range of 2.25 - 2.33 rai per hour with those interested in attending the training total of more than 140 people, consisting of farmers, officials of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Department of Agriculture, Department of Environmental Quality Promotion, Royal projects Private entrepreneurs, teachers, students, and interested parties who participated in the training were interested in applying their knowledge and went to the area to study the working of the prototype by using to try it for real in their sugarcane fields. As well as the production of organic fertilizer from sugar cane leaves for commercial sale.
