ARDA joins with TAMC to develop Smart Farmer to become Area Leader and utilize research to create an innovative community towards sustainable development.

On Monday, May 31, 2021, Agricultural Research Development Agency (Public Organization) or ARDA by Dr. Suwit Chaikiattiyos, Executive Director, and Ms. Ciriklon Viwallvong, Deputy Director of ARDA, along with consultants for the promotion of utilization. Director of the Office of Utilization Promotion Director of Research Personnel Development Office Director of Research Support Office and ARDA officials jointly discussed with the Area Development Fund Management and Fund Management Unit (DASTA), led by Dr. Kitti Sajjawattana, Director of DASTA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pun Thiangburanatham, Deputy Director DASTA Assoc. Prof. Isaya Chanwittayanuchit, Deputy Director of DASTA, and the team in integrating cooperation linking collaboration between two main issues: 1. Strengthening the capabilities of Smart Farmer who has received a scholarship and has graduated extend to “Innovators of villagers” and develop to become Area Leaders to promote additional income and overall development of the area; and 2. To push research results into the use of space through 3 programs: 1. Innovation for the economy, foundations, and innovative communities; 2. Developing the capacity of local enterprises; and 3. Research and innovation to solve poverty problems completely and accurately focusing on operations through provincial development mechanisms and area-level mechanisms are important. All of which are operational departments in the fiscal year 2022. It is the development of the community economic system, linking community economic activities with the management of production, consumption, exchange, and linking to the market both inside and outside the community to increase competitiveness and strengthen the agricultural sector sustainably.
