ARDA Participated in an online seminar on "Regulations and Safety Assessment for RPET Recycled Plastic Food Contact Materials".

On February 8, 2021, the Agricultural Research Development Agency (Public Organization) or ARDA with the Faculty of Agro-Industry Kasetsart University, Food and Drug Administration and the Institute of Nutrition Mahidol University together organized an online seminar entitled "Regulations and Safety Assessment for rPET Recycled Plastic Food Contact Materials" under the project to develop and evaluate food contact material testing methods. And a project to develop guidelines for assessing the safety of food contact materials to present the results of studies and analyzes related to regulations and guidelines for the safety assessment of food contact materials containing recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastics abroad and listen to comments and suggestions on regulations and guidelines for safety assessment of food contact materials in Thailand at Room 5419, Agro-Industry Building 5, Floor 4, Kasetsart University. By having Dr. Suwit Chaikiattiyos, Director of ARDA as presided over the opening speech of the seminar.
