ARDA, in collaboration with Kasetsart University, follows the progress of a research project testing the extraction of silk protein and silk protein concentration from 5 protein sources to compare the cost-effectiveness of commercial use of silk protein.

On September 4, 2023, Ms.Praweena In-yim, Director, Office of Researchers Capabilities Enhancement, and staff of Arda, together with staff of Kasetsart University, followed the progress of a research project testing the extraction of silk protein and silk protein concentration from 5 protein sources in order to compare the cost-effectiveness of commercial use of silk protein farmer's Housewives Group, Ban Kheum Ma U-Suan Mon, Nong Wa Subdistrict, Bua Lai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, and visit the area to follow up and evaluate the impact of the research project to develop further for recipients of ARDA funds. Mr. Sakda Saengkanha, a graduate of Kasetsart University's bachelor's degree scholarship program for developing new generations of agriculture, class 2, to create measurable indicators for efficiency and effectiveness, and to study the amount of protein obtained from extraction from all 5 sources and compare the concentration of silk protein. By designing and developing new products from the processing of silk protein powder made into cosmetics to help reduce wrinkles and various scars, extracted from silk protein, silk protein drinks, etc., making it possible to generate income for the Community Enterprise Group, Housewives and Farmers Group, Ban Kheum Ma-U-Suan Mon, Nong Wa Subdistrict, Bua Lai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, in the future.

Arda focuses on research work to solve problems in the area (On Farm Trial). The aim of the project is to create Smart Farmers to be researchers in the community and able to apply their knowledge to their careers focus on being an SMR as follows:
