ARDA with PBRU, organized an exhibition of agricultural product processing, and food innovation research to create added value “RAINs for LCP Food Valley 2023”.

On May 1, 2023, Agriculture Research Development Agency (Public Organization), or ARDA, cooperate with Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, organized an exhibition of agricultural product processing and food innovation research to create added value RAINs for LCP Food Valley 2022 led by Mr. Thammanoon Sriwattana Deputy Governor of Phetchaburi Province, presided over the opening ceremony and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sanoh Klimngam, President of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, welcomed remarks by Ms.Kunvara Chotiphansophon, Deputy Director of the Agriculture Research Development Agency, said ARDA's policy to support research funds in adding value to agricultural products, food, and the creative economy, however, ARDA brings products from research projects supported by ARDA to the exhibition. 1. Healthy jackfruit snack products use a low GI palatine sweetener packed in a container. That is safe for consumption. 2. Mao Mee Vegan Ball products with local plant proteins 3. Lamduan cookies mixed with rice berry 4. Pressed cereal products provide high energy from Krayasart. 5. Healthy jelly drink products from local medicinal fruits in the west of Thailand. There are ingredients from 3 local fruits, such as Karanda fruit, Indian gooseberry, and mulberry, at Robinson Lifestyle Shopping Center, Phetchaburi Province.

These events aim to manage to obtain results that respond to the food valley research promotion activities plan in the lower central region to respond to government policies by focusing on creating and developing a network of cooperation in 3 sectors (Tri Helix) are the private sector, the public sector and the university network namely Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University and Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University. The goal is to strengthen the grassroots economy in the lower central region and to develop products to meet the needs of consumers and the natural resource base focus on working with small food industry entrepreneurs in 2 food groups, Healthy Food and Cultural Food, developing packaging and logos that reflect the identity of food products in the lower central region add value and increase competitiveness reduces the import of food products from foreign countries and presents the results of the Rains for LCP Food Valley research program, including showcasing food products developed by universities and research networks.
