ARDA attend a meeting with MOAC organization to discuss ways to promote potato cultivation in the country.

On 27 April 27, 2023, Dr. Vicharn Ingsrisawang, Executive Director of ARDA, attends a meeting to discuss Guidelines for promoting domestic potato cultivation with Mr. Suradej Samiprem, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives assigned by the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives presided over this meeting. With Mr.Api Suttisunk, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Cpo 1 Prasert Malai, Inspector Genspector General for the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Mr. Thiti Lohapiyaphan, assistant Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives and representative Office of Agricultural Economics, Department of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture Extension, Cooperative Promotion Department, Land Development Department, Agricultural Land Reform Office, Office of Planning and Special Projects foreign agricultural office and the Office of the Secretary of the Committee for Promotion and Development of Contracted Agriculture at Meeting Room 123, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

In the meeting acknowledged the following issues: 1) Basic information of potato cultivation in Thailand, cost and value of potato cultivation in Thailand by the Office of Agricultural Economics. 2) Promotion of potato planting in Thailand (area, quantity, variety, etc.) and limitation of potato planting by Department of Agriculture and the Department of Agricultural Extension. 3) Potato contract farming data provided by Office of the Secretary of the Committee for Promotion and Development of Contract Agriculture and discuss ways to promote domestic potato cultivation.
