Antimicrobial use in livestock is an important cause of bacteria development and transmission resistance. These resistant bacteria can contaminate the meat in the food chain, and consumers may be exposed to these bacteria by consuming meat. That can result in negatives effects on treatment.

This brainstorming meeting aims to present relevant research findings and outline guidelines for assessing the risk of AMR from meat consumption to listen to opinions from the meeting attend and exchange ideas and various suggestions to improve this figure to be completely future.
