ARDA collaborates with Maejo University promoting and supporting funding for the development of agricultural research and agricultural personnel.

On March 8, 2023, the Agriculture Research Development Agency (Public Organization), or Arda, led by Dr. Vicharn Ingsrisawang, Executive Director of ARDA with Maejo University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerapol Thongma, President of Maejo University, organized a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony for Academic cooperation in promoting and supporting research funds for the development of agricultural research and agricultural personnel at the Rung Phueng Conference Room, 5th floor, Mae Jo University. Chavalit Chookajorn, Chairman of Board Committees of ARDA, Mr. Wirat Prabtuk, Director of Highland Research and Development Institute, and executive and staff of both agencies attended as witnesses.

The signing of the Memorandum Of Understanding has the objective to academic between ARDA and Maejo University to create a body of knowledge by operating in the form of academic cooperation. Including working together to promote and support the development of agriculture, agriculture industry agricultural technology, and develop potential research, as well as to increase production potential for farmers and add value to agriculture products as well as working together to develop the potential of personnel involved in the agricultural research sector which will help expand research results and performance for real utilization, especially in the development of a new generation of farmers or Smart Farmer.
