ARDA joins forces with Thaicom to develop agriculture technology to enhance Thailand's agricultural potential.

On January 20, 2023, the Agriculture Research Development Agency (ARDA), led by Dr. Vicharn Ingsrisawang, Executive Director of ARDA. And Thaicom Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Patompob Suwansiri, Chief Executive Officer of Thaicom Public Company Limited, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the research and development of agricultural technology to enhance Thailand's agricultural potential at SJ Tower, Bangkok. There were executives and officials from both agencies as witnesses at the event, such as Mr. Supat Eauchai, committees of ARDA, Mr. Sedtgakiat Krajangwongs, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (representation permanent secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives), Mr. Piyawat Jriyasetapong, Chief Commercial Officer and Ms. Kantima Sarika, Senior Vice President.

This collaboration aimed to promote, support, and development in agriculture research through telecommunication and satellite systems to create knowledge and innovation for further development of the agriculture sector, especially in promoting research on technology and innovation in the management of agriculture product plantations with high-economic value or Product Champion, such as durian, etc.
