ARDA joins hands with the Department of Fisheries to promote and support the country's fisheries research development.

On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the Agriculture Research Development Agency (Public Organization), or ARDA, led by Dr. Vicharn Ingsrisawang, ARDA Executive Director, with executives and staff of ARDA, joins discussions with the Department of Fisheries. Mr. Chalermchai Suwannarak, Director General of the Department of Fisheries, with Mrs. Praulai Nootmorn, Acting expert on fishery management, Executive of the Department of Fisheries, and staff are welcome.

This discussion was to drive the promotion and support of research development in fisheries, development of agriculture personnel, and utilization of research results (Research Utilization: RU) within the framework of the scientific plan research and innovation 2023-2027, along with exchanging suggestions for improving work. Both in the issue of upgrading Thai fisheries through research and development in response to the sustainable development goals, balancing fisheries that preserve the environment, creating wealth for farmers with technology and innovation that increase both productivity and value, including the development of personnel in the country and internationally. Increase competitiveness with good fishery products, quality, and safe fishery products to create knowledge develop fisheries research results, and support the application of research results and innovations in economic and social aspects to achieve balanced and sustainable development of the country.
